Yes, absolutely. Please specify the grind size when you order. For example, if you would like it ground coarse for French press coffee, medium grind for filter, or fine grind for espresso, we are happy to do so for you. If you're buying a gift for someone, and you aren't sure if they have a coffee grinder, it's a thoughtful way to personalize a gift.
Each bag of coffee is 200g. You will need about 15g of ground coffee per cup. A 200g bag of coffee gives you about 13 cups of coffee.
After you open a bag of coffee, it loses most of its flavour within a few days. Maple Creek Coffee comes in 200g coffee bags so it can be used within a week.
I have smaller 100g bags that we sometimes use as gifts. If you would like to order those, please let me know. 600g bags are also available.
Maple Creek Coffee classifies its coffee by light, medium and dark roast levels to give you a general idea of how the coffee tastes. A dark roast is going to have a stronger taste and more body than a light roast. Physically, a dark roast does look darker than a light roast but you can only really tell the difference by comparing them side by side.
Yes, absolutely! Just because I roast coffee one way it doesn't mean that the coffee tastes bad roasted another way. If you like a coffee but think it would be roasted to a different level please let me know and I will make a batch to your taste.
No. The tasting notes on the bag are intended to give you an impression of how the coffee tastes. It also helps to describe the differences between the coffees. A coffee with notes of chocolate tastes quite different from a coffee with notes of citrus, but they both still taste like coffee.
No. I do not add any flavours to the coffee. If you like to add flavours to your coffee, I recommend adding flavoured syrup to your drink after it is brewed so you can adjust it to taste.
The coffee is priced at $60 per kilogram. All of the coffee is specialty grade, which is of significantly better quality than regular coffee. Specialty coffee has far less physical defects and tastes a lot better. I tend to buy green coffee that is graded around 86-87 points on the SCA scale.
The Limited Edition coffee is priced at $80 per kilogram. The Limited Edition coffees are more expensive because they are of even higher grade or are in very limited supply.

I have roasted coffee that is ready to ship. If we do not have the coffee you want ready to ship, I will let you know when I will roast it and have it ready for delivery.
I roast coffee on Thursdays and Fridays, and ship on Mondays. Most orders will be delivered in 1-3 business days. Larger orders, and custom gift orders will take a bit longer, please contact me ahead of time to let me know what you need.
Payment - Email orders - Once your order details are confirmed, I will send you a payment link from Square Payments by email.
Delivery - The prices for the boxes of coffee listed on the website include delivery. For custom orders I will provide a shipping estimate, it typically costs less than $20. If you would like to arrange for a pick up, please let me know.
Replacements - If you are not happy with your coffee, please let me know and I will give you a replacement.
